Reform Weddings (Chuppa and Kiddushin)

Reform Weddings (Chuppa and Kiddushin) under the Chuppa we celebrate your joyful day – personalizing tradition.

The moment of joining two lives together is sacred and precious. It denotes the transition from the present to the future; the power of the loving human relationship to build a new world.

The ceremony as celebrated by the Reform community is both old and new. We have revitalized the meaning of the many traditional features of the occasion – the Chuppa, the Ketuba, the mutual exchange of rings, even the breaking of the glass cup. Our ceremony allows both partners (the bride and groom – both heterosexual and same partners) to add features and texts that are meaningful to them.

The Rabbis of Beit Samueli prepare the event with each couple, studying and discussing together how the ceremony can become unique and special for each individual occasion. They will perform the ceremony anywhere in the country.

It is also possible to have a celebration at Beit Samueli itself.
